Canora Park Watch Events

St. Anne's ParkCanora Park Watch is a volunteer citizen-based organization that was formed about 10 years ago in conjunction with the Edmonton City Police, City of Edmonton Social Workers and City Parks and Recreation. It was started to get more positive activities in St. Anne Park and the 149 St Greenspace and discourage the negative activities that were taking place. Our mission statement is “Creating community through People, Parks and Programs”. So far we have been very successful.

In 2016 we have several events planned that are open to everyone and free of charge.
On February 27th we will be having Snowshoeing at St. Anne Park, 153 St. and 102 Ave. At 1:00 PM. Come out and join us for snowshoeing, snacks and hot chocolate around the fire pit.
On March 26th our 8th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on 149 St Greenspace and 106 Ave at 1:00 PM SHARP on March 26. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
On May 29th the 9th Annual Mini Carnival will be held at 1:00 PM at St Anne Park. Come out and join us for a Sunday afternoon of music, food for purchase, games for the children and face painting. All money raised will get donated to Zebra Child Protection.
On June 18th Fitness in the Park will be held at 1:00 PM at St Anne Park.
Keep an eye on this space for more events. If you want more information, or would like to volunteer to help, just email us at canoraparkwatch@yahoo.ca.
